John R. Domingos

John Domingos has practiced law in San Francisco since 1976. Prior to practicing law, he was employed as a tax accountant by Arthur Anderson & Co., in its San Francisco Tax Department. He is both an attorney and certified public accountant.

Mr. Domingos' practice focuses on representing the interests of closely held business entities and their owners. This includes an analysis of tax considerations, choice of the appropriate entity within which to meet the founder's business objectives and a review of financing alternatives. Client companies are active in acquiring other businesses and financing internal growth through a variety of methods.

Mr. Domingos also serves as counsel to several high-net-worth family groups. He organized and established effective programs for minimizing estate- and gift-tax obligations while determining how such liabilities could be most effectively satisfied.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Domingos has been active in writing and teaching for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, having authored a corporate tax planning course.

Mr. Domingos received a BS in Accounting and Finance from Sacramento State College in 1966 and a Juris Doctor from UCLA in 1969.
